Metal Substrates are the product name for metallic carriers. These products are primarily used in exhaust gas treatment for automobiles, motorcycles, general machinery, diesel vehicles, aviation filtration, and heavy industries.
Metallic substrates are fabricated by pressing and coiling metallic foil into a honeycomb structure, which is then placed inside a metal casing and brazed together. Metallic substrates also feature low specific heat capacity and high thermal conductivity, which can shorten the catalyst heating time during cold starts in vehicles, improve exhaust purification efficiency at startup, and thereby better achieve low-carbon and environmental protection goals.
